unique style excellent linen helpful staff rude receptionist judgemental attitude poor assumption
This hotel has a unique style. The bed linen was excellent. The staff was helpful. The hotel is within easy strolling distance of a busy square and a high street full of bars and restaurants.
The receptionist in the morning was rude and judgemental when I paid the room tax. She assumed I was going to leave without paying it. She used previous guests as an excuse for her actions. I am not previous guests, so I should not be judged based on them.

room temperature no car charging
the staff were friendly. the location was acceptable.
The room was warm. I found it very uncomfortable. the car charging promised did not work, so i had no charge the next morning. the lack of tea and coffee in the room was frustrating. It wasn't topped up.

charming stay experience
fantastic decor kind staff great location breakfast variety
the decor really made AN impression, it felt special. the staff were very kind, helping with everything i needed. The location was close to many restaurants, that was very convenient. i also found the breakfast to be really good, with a good variety of options.
I noticed some cigarette butts outside the hotel, near the front. It seemed like an easy thing to clean up.

I found street parking easily, so i skipped the hotel parking. some excellent restaurants are within walking distance. That was convenient. the bed was comfortable, a nice feature after a long journey.
The garage was difficult to navigate. It's not ideal for larger cars. i had to maneuver quite a bit to avoid scraping the sides. better signage or a redesign would help.

an ok stay, but issues exist
bad air conditioning outside noise
the location was great with easy access to many restaurants.
the room was not quiet at all i could hear a lot of noise from outside the window the air conditioning wasn't working well making the room uncomfortable it made it hard to relax and sleep properly.

I appreciate the staff's friendliness. they took my bags directly from my car to the room. The hotel's garden gate was opened for scooter access, facilitating my entry. A helpful lady assisted me. She seemed ready to address any need i had. the secure garage UNDERGROUND was really useful.
some parts of the hotel appear rather dated. it is not the best look, but it is manageable.
